En suivant ces quelques conseils, votre équipement marin pêcheur gardera toute sa souplesse et son étanchéité pour vous protéger durablement en mer 🌊.

🚿 Après chaque utilisation (L'étape 🔑)

C'est le geste le plus important pour les professionnels de la mer. Le sel marin et les résidus organiques (sang de poisson, algues) peuvent rigidifier le PVC et corroder les éléments métalliques à long terme.

  • Rinçage systématique : Passez vos vêtements (endroit et envers si nécessaire) sous l'eau douce (au jet d'eau ou sous la douche) après chaque sortie en mer.
  • Brossage léger : Si le vêtement est taché (boue, graisse), frottez doucement avec une brosse souple ou une éponge non abrasive.

🧼 Instructions de Lavage

Bien que le rinçage suffise le plus souvent, un lavage complet est parfois nécessaire pour des raisons d'hygiène.

  • Lavage en Machine :

✅ Température : 30°C (ou 40°C maximum). Une température trop élevée peut faire fondre ou déformer l'enduction PVC.

✅ Programme : Délicat ou Synthétique.

✅ Détergent : Utilisez une lessive liquide standard.

❌ INTERDIT : N'utilisez JAMAIS d'adoucissant (assouplissant) ni de Javel. L'adoucissant attaque le traitement du tissu et peut le rendre poreux.

⚠️ Précaution : Fermez les fermetures éclair et les velcros avant de mettre le vêtement en machine pour éviter qu'ils n'abîment le tissu par frottement.

  • Lavage à la Main (Recommandé pour les Waders) :

🛀🏼 Lavez dans une grande bassine ou une baignoire avec de l'eau tiède et un peu de lessive douce.

💨 Séchage

Le séchage doit être naturel. La chaleur artificielle est l'ennemi du PVC.

  • Sèche-linge STRICTEMENT INTERDIT ⛔️: La chaleur intense du sèche-linge décollerait les bandes de soudure haute fréquence et ferait fondre le PVC.
  • Séchage à l'air libre : Étendez le vêtement sur un fil ou un cintre, dans un endroit ventilé et à l'ombre.
  • Pour les Waders : Faites-les sécher ouverts, si possible la tête en bas (suspendus par les bottes) pour permettre à l'humidité intérieure (transpiration) de s'évacuer vers le bas.

👁️ Notre support mural est d'ailleurs parfait pour faire d'une pierre deux coups : un séchage optimal et un rangement propre.

🧱 Stockage

Ne rangez jamais un ciré ou des waders s'ils sont encore humides (risque de moisissures et de mauvaises odeurs).

  • À plat ou sur cintre : L'idéal est de stocker vos vestes et cottes suspendues sur un cintre. Si vous devez les plier, évitez de trop les compresser pour ne pas marquer le tissu aux pliures de façon permanente.
  • Loin de la chaleur : Ne laissez pas vos équipements en plein soleil derrière un pare-brise de voiture ou près d'un radiateur.
