Mid-High Thermal Socks, Model KL09/L: Full Protection and Consistent Warmth
Working in extreme cold with inadequate protection turns every hour on the job into a struggle. When moisture seeps in and frost numbs your feet, your safety and precision on site are directly compromised. Don’t let standard socks slip or become soaked with sweat anymore. These mid-high thermal socks are designed for professionals who demand total thermal protection from toe to calf.
The demanding professional refuses to choose between protection and mobility. This thermal second skin guarantees flawless insulation to tame the harshest environments.
Why choose this model?
✔️ Extended thermal insulation: Its 40 cm height fully protects the lower leg, preventing cold spots between the boot and work pants.
✔️ Active moisture regulation: The technical felt absorbs and wicks away sweat to maintain dry warmth, avoiding the cooling effect after exertion.
✔️ High abrasion resistance: Its structural density protects your boot liners from premature wear, making your PPE investment last longer.
✔️ Optimized work comfort: The flexibility of the high-density fibers ensures perfect support without compression, ideal for long days on the move.
Technical details
The performance of the KL09/L model relies on a blend of high-density polyester and polypropylene. This technical mix creates a honeycomb structure capable of trapping warm air while facilitating capillary moisture transfer to the outside. Unlike entry-level products, this European manufacturing guarantees exceptional shape memory. The felt does not compress under body weight, maintaining its insulating properties even after months of intensive use in construction or cold logistics.

✔️ Felted : Provides optimal thermal insulation while protecting the liner from premature wear caused by foot friction inside the boot. The natural ability of felt to absorb sweat keeps the foot dry.
Taking care of your equipment means preserving your protection.
Our clothing is designed with cutting-edge materials to face the most extreme conditions. Whether it's PVC armor or a breathable membrane, each textile has its own requirements.
This guide concerns our insulating materials. These materials work by trapping warm air close to your body. Improper care that crushes the fibers or alters the silver particles drastically reduces their heat-retaining power.
🚿 Washing: Preserve volume
- In machine: Synthetic or delicate cycle at 30°C. Cold washing prevents premature "pilling" of the fleece.
- Precaution: Do not overload the drum. Insulators (Wadding, Felt) need space to avoid mechanical compression.
- Choice of detergent: Mild liquid detergent. Avoid powders that can clump in the fibers of felt or wadding.
- Warning: For the Termoizol technology, never use bleach or chlorine-based products. They could oxidize the metallic layer that reflects your heat.
💨 Drying
- Ideal method: Flat drying on a rack. This prevents the weight of the water from deforming the felt or causing the wadding to settle to the bottom of the garment by gravity.
- Tumble dryer: Possible at very low temperature for fleece and wadding (this helps restore loft). Not allowed for felt (risk of shrinkage).
- Ironing: Unnecessary and strongly discouraged. Synthetic fibers can instantly melt under the heat of an iron.
🧱 Storage
- Method: Store your clothes in a dry place, preferably on hangers or folded without weight on top.
- Pitfall: Avoid storing your wadding or termoizol items in vacuum compression bags for long months. Prolonged compression "breaks" the fiber and reduces its ability to trap air in the future.
🩹 Repair
- Fleece: A simple strong stitch is enough.
- Wadding & Termoizol: In case of a tear, it is crucial to patch the hole quickly (even with temporary adhesive) to prevent the insulating filling from escaping or fraying.
- Pro tip: For Termoizol, prefer an internal repair to avoid disturbing the thermal reflection of the silvered layer.
